A little while ago I ran out of pretty much all my skin care products at the same time. I love and hates this at the same time, it means spending a whole lot all together but it also means buying new things to try! I truly believe in investing in skin care and working on having a good base.
I made a little trip to the mother ship a.k.a Sephora, which is one of my favourite places to shop for skin care, so I thought I would share with you what I bought. I’ll also do review of these products once I’ve properly used them. I’ve used two of the products so you’ll see a mini review of those in this post but let me know if you would like a more in depth review of everything in a video 🙂
Cleanser: Boscia Make up-Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil. I was first looking for a balm but one of the lovely girls at Sephora recommended this to me as an alternative. It is meant to melt off make up off the face without leaving any residue. I’ve used Boscia products before and loved them so I thought I would give this a try as well.
Eye Cream: Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream. As I turned 29 a couple of weeks ago I thought it was time to start using a proper eye cream to prevent wrinkles. This one is really cooling and moisturizing. It also has reflective particles in it so it makes the under eye area look instantly brighter, which I love.
Moisturizer: Clinique Turnaroud Revitalizing Treatment Oil. I’ve also been using this for a couple of weeks, mainly at night. Although it is an oil, it is very light weight and once it soaks in, you skin won’t feel oily. I am loving this product so far. When I wake up in the morning my skin feels soft, looks brighter with less redness and if I have any acne, the spots look way less angry.
Treatment: Origins Super Spot Remover Acne Treatment Gel. I was using Effaclar Duo by La Roche Posay but I haven’t been able to find that for a couple of weeks. I had however heard very good things about this Origins treatment so I decided to give it a try. It is salicylic based and is supposed to make blemishes disappear much quicker.
Let me know if you’ve had experience using any of these or if you have any other recommendations!
